A Day in Copenhagen (Food Edition)

A Day in Copenhagen (Food Edition)

Copenhagen can pretty much described as a third home. Over the years (and a ton of eats) I've narrowed down some of my favourite places based on atmosphere, and taste. Let's dive into a full day of eating in CPH Glocal style!

Breakfast: Grød

A visit to Grød (two locations, check the website) will have your taste buds BURSTING and healthy vibes on fleek (if I do say so myself). My friend Anna got the havregrød 1, while I customized mine! I still need to try their risotto's and think you should too.

Lunch: Mother

Mother Copenhagen

I'm actually OBSESSED with this place (and their wine.. check here ). Amazing wood oven pizza's, antipasto, burrata, pasta, everything. Located in the hip meat-packing *cool people* area of Vesterbro, Mother is an amazing date night spot and the vibes are on point! Pick up a bottle of wine or five at their wine store located off the beaten path in Strøget and pair with some aged Parmigiano-Reggiano for the perfect mid-day snack.

Villa Vino (DINNER?)

I'm a little guilty for skipping the regular meal and opting for cheese and curated meats. When in Copenhagen there is no exception to the rule! Among my Favourites of the cute and cozy wine bars is Villa Vino

A cute and cozy atmosphere that is very popular with the locals. Come for after work wine - turned charcuterie heaven (see above photo). The list of wine is also endless and the regions are truly a wine lovers dream!

Even though I've been to this city two handfuls of times, the experience is always new. I'm very excited to explore more eateries, cafes and shops!
